Quick decluttering update: Bathroom, coat closet and living room tables CHECK! Next up, my room. DUN DUN DUN! Bedroom closet starting tomorrow. If you don't hear from me in the next few days you may want to send someone in after me... #kidding  #notreally (Is that a thing? Do people hash tag in blogs? well I. Just. Did.) Anyways, time to get down to business. The last few weeks I've set a goal to make Friday my writing day. The 5 yr old is at preschool so its just me and the baby. Usually, sometime in the beginning of the week I start pondering something that I could write about, then jot down some notes through out the week. This week was not that way. I really had no clue what I was going to write about and considered taking the week off. I didn't figure it out until I sat down and opened the computer. Even still, its a jumbled mess in my brain. My thoughts are spider webbing all over the place. I'm just going to try to get it out and hope it makes sense at the end.

Sorry Pinterest... It's Not You, It's Me.

Pardon me while I rant.... One morning, after a particularly rough night with 'baby who doesn't love sleep', I helped get the kids out the door to school and sat down on the couch. I decided to zone out via Pinterest while I nursed for the umpteenth time in the last 8 hours. I found myself reflecting on my morning  based on the tiles of these pins alone. I didn't even read the articles.  "We're my responses too harsh because I'm overly tired? Did I tell them to hurry up because we overslept? I think I did. What mistakes am I making to cause this baby not to sleep? ".... Etcetera. Etcetera. Etcetera. One scroll through Pinterest took me from '

Decluttering. Its good for the soul.

Decluttering update: Week one tasks complete! Gavin and I cleaned out and reorganized his room and I decluttered the hall closet. Here is a visual for you. The bottom part of that closet we use for shoes. In theory, it's supposed to be the shoes we wear frequently so that they're easily accessible. However, I pulled out 14 pairs of shoes... 12 of which were mine..  oops. I got rid of 6 pairs! That's just a small example of what I'm working with around this house and I'm realizing a lot of the junk is mine. It's not fun admitting that but admitting you have a problem is the first step, right? Hi! I'm Jane and I'm a clutter-aholic. Maybe I should start a support group. We can talk about our decluttering efforts. Actually we'd probably end up taking each others clutter that we could "use for something" and it would turn into one big garage sale....with out the sale part. Bad idea.,. So, back to my decluttering this week. (My computer do
